Léopold Albert Marin GAUTRAIT (1865-1937) was a loyal collaborator of Maison GARIOD from 1897 to 1920. The themes dear to Art Nouveau (women, fauna, flora) were translated into jewelry by Gautrait and Gariod, their creations distinguished by the quality of their chasing and the enamels used.
Léopold Gautrait also worked for other French jewelry houses, such as Boucheron and Vever.
