The two pendants, in finely chased gold, have a polychrome enamel background stylizing a sunset over a lakescape, the water treated in plique-à-jour enamel. The main motif is signed "L. GAUTRAIT". French Art Nouveau work, diamond-shaped hallmark of Léon GARIOD. Length: 54cm. Total dimensions of the pendants: 12.7x3.1cm. P. Gross weight : 31,8 g. Léopold Albert Marin GAUTRAIT (1865-1937) was a loyal collaborator of Maison GARIOD from 1897 to 1920.
