Ritual headdress for women (perak). Ladakh
A wide headband with a long flap that can be folded from front to back. Richly decorated with large turquoises, corals, agates and small mother-of-pearl and wooden beads. An oval metal medallion as the centerpiece, a silver pendant in the shape of a heart on the flap. Signs of wear.
