Cabinet box. Wood, lacquer and metal. Late 17th century. Rectangular with hinged lid and lintel front. The interior consisting of a lower drawer divided into five compartments, two with lids, and an upper compartment that can be accessed by lifting the lid. Black lacquer on the outside and inside on all sides, decorated in gold lacquer on the front with floral tendrils and a bird, on the sides and top with straw huts under floral tendrils. Scattered flowers on the inside. Gilt copper fittings with punched circles attached to the edges and corners with nails, the lock plates in the same technique. Gilt metal handles on the narrow sides.
