Daisho (pair of swords) Katana blade: L 69.4 cm, shinogi zukuri, two double-sided bohi over the entire length, suguha hamon, o-maru boshi, itame-masame hada. Nakago: suriage, two mekugi-ana, mumei. 15th/16th century Good polished condition, slight scratches. Wakizashi blade: L 51.7 cm, shinogi zukuri, toran hamon with muneyaki, hakikake boshi, itame hada. Nakago: ubu, two mekugi-ana, mei: Bishu osafune Hichibejo Sukesada, dated: Keian 3 (1650). Good polished condition, slight scratches. Koshirae: Complete daisho-koshirae in kamishimo-zashi style. Both tsuba of shakudo, mikagiji, the katana-tsuba with hitsu-ume in copper-gilt (one missing). Fuchi, kozuka and kogai in shakudo nanako with mon gilded in copper: a) Maru ni matsukawa-bishi, jo-mon of the ogawa samurai family, b) Yoroi-cho, the jo-mon of the Taira and the Ikeda from okayama. Fuchi, kozuka and kogai signed: Sokyo (Terukiyo III, active late 18th century). Kashira of black horn. Black winding over same. Saya: smooth, black lacquer, silver-plated habaki, silver-plated and gilt seppa. Brocade sheaths.
