Okimono of a skull with snake and frogs. Late 19th century.
Two monkeys, a toad and a frog are holding a skull around which a snake is coiled, biting the leg of a fleeing toad. Allusion to the sansukumi theme, in which snake, frog and snail bring death to each other. Pupils made of black horn. Rest.
