Medieval sword in excavated condition.
Beautiful discoid pommel with two levels of relief. Wide, flat tang. Guard with strong quillons slightly folded towards the tip. Estoc blade with diamond-shaped section to the tip.
Very good condition for an excavation piece.
France. Late 14th century, early 15th century.
Minor scratches on the edge of the blade.
