Turkish Manuscript - Jewels of the Prophetic Hadiths Ink, polychrome pigments and gold on paper, bound in stamped and gilded green leather. Turkey, 19th century H. 20 cm - W. 13 cm - D. 0.5 cm AR The binding of this manuscript is embossed and gilded with a coat of arms composed of a bundle of arms and a tughra, framed by four spandrels of foliage. The text is finely calligraphed in black and gold ink, framed in polychrome and gold. The colophon gives no indication of the scribe or date of copying.
