USA. UNIFORMS. Lieutenant General Lloyd FREDENDALL's uniform consists of a dark brown gabardine jacket, shoulder tabs decorated with 3 silver metal stars, 2nd Army Corps and 2nd Army patches, 3 overseas chevrons and 4 service chevrons, usual campaign decoration ribbons plus the CMG and Mexican border medal, label from Baker & co tailor in Toledo and nominette in the name of LR FREDENDALL, troop shirt with 3 stars on collar lapel and 2nd Army patch, tie, dark brown shirt, matching straight pants, an officer's cap not from L. Fredendall is attached. Fredendall. and 2 photos of him as Major General. BE Lloyd FREDENDALL (1883-1963) Lieutenant-General best known for his role as commander of US troops at the Battle of Kasserine Pass in Tunisia in February 1943, a bloody defeat in which the Americans lost 6,300 men, including 3,000 prisoners. He was replaced by the famous General Patton and sent back to the USA.
