ILIAZD (Ilia ZDANEVITCH, known as): Lidantiu farma (Ledentu the Lighthouse), dramatic poem in Zaum. Paris: Iliazd, 41°, 1923. One volume, small paperback in-8°, 8 pp.n.c.- pp. 9-6, in covers illustrated with a collage and filled. ORIGINAL EDITION of this poem in Zaoum, a Russian Dadaist literary form, dedicated to the Russian painter Michel Ledentu, who died accidentally in 1917, aged 26. Iliazd pays posthumous homage to Ledentu, reflecting on the links between art, reality and death. The cover is illustrated on the first plate with an original color collage by Naum Granowsky, made on commission. The print run is 530 copies: 30 on Japon impérial and the rest on Rubel paper. Ours is one of 500, but it is believed that only 150 of the 530 copies were put into circulation due to difficulties in execution. The rare loose leaflet with Ribemont-Dessaignes' preface, stapled to the book format, is missing here. The body of the book has been glued to the back cover. The first 4 leaves are covered with old annotations (poems or other) (small paper losses on the spine). A GOOD EXAMPLE of one of the most curious books ever printed, enriched by a handwritten letter signed and dated 1924 from the author to André Billy.
