dating: about 1860 provenance: USA, Octagonal, rifled, 31 cal barrel (bore with some pitting, visible rifling), provided with sight shaped as a truncated cone, with remnants of marking "NEPPERHAN FIRE ARMS CO. The cartridge rammer wedge with small defects. Five-shot cylinder. The rotation is not perfect yet still working. Serial number "26xx" matching on the barrel wedge, the cartridge rammer lever and the trigger. Some parts with small remains of antique bluing. Pitting at the base of the cylinder. The trigger guard with remains of probably silver-plated finish. Walnut grips.
