dating: 1863 - 1865 provenance: USA, Cylindrical, rifled, 44 cal barrel (clean bore, visible rifling) provided with front sight, base with marks "C" and "B". Six-shot cylinder with serial number "26xxx". Working mechanism. Frame with company and patent markings on the sides, and with stamp "C" on both elements. Marked "R" and with serial number matching with the cylinder, the same number is also inside the cock housing. Some pitting, especially on the back of the cylinder. Smooth wooden handle.
