An 1821 Model cuirass
dating: First half of the 19th Century provenance: Francia, Made of iron; breast-plate ribbed in the middle, neckline with hem turned outwards, provided with brass rivets. The neckline of the backplate file roped inwards, like all the other borders, also with row of rivets and with armoured leather straps, with brass rings and buckles. Marked "CP" under crown.
