dating: Late 19th Century provenance: Caucaso, Straight, double-edged blade, with a double central fuller on the front side, featuring a wavy undulated engraving within it; the segment at the base, without fuller, engraved with the date "1896". The back side of the blade with double fuller featuring a wavy engraving continuing up to the base. Some pitting. Typical handle made of brown horn. Ring nut made of nielloed silver and shaped as a net on the front side and marked "84", followed by an emblem on the back. Three nielloed silver studs shaped as a net like the whole band edging the grip, the latter also with leaf engravings. Wooden scabbard with black leather covering. Mounts matching the dagger with floral designs lowered on a nielloed mesh background. Tip with old restoration. The two mounts with the same mark "84" as the grip. Cap featuring its antique leather strap and an inscription at the back.
