dating: Edo Period (1603-1867) provenance: Giappone, Suji Bachi goshozan Kabuto with iron Hachi of good quality, consisting of 38 riveted plates (unusual); tehen kanamono with gilded sectors; agemaki no kan; mabezashi covered with embossed leather; shikoro with 5 plates in vermilion-colored lacquer laced in kon ito sugake odoshi, complete with fuki gaeshi. Iron menpo in brown lacquer with dark mustachios, yodarekake with 3 plates and blue silk lacing (lacquer and lacing with small defects). The inside of the skull with a gold sector on the back, where the signature can usually be found. Original gold lacquer also on the backpiece holding the Mabezashi. Stand not included.
