Elegant menuki in blackened and gilded shakudo decorated with floral motifs. Leather tsuka. Saya of lacquered wood decorated with thin grooves similar to the wooden structure, beautiful copper Kurigata shaped as a house with partially gilded floral decorations. Late Muromachi Period early Tensho (c. 1573), Minoseki school, Shizo Saburo group. Kanewara worked like Wakasa No Jo Ujifusa.
