Montrose was an American hard rock and heavy metal band formed in 1973 by guitarist Ronnie Montrose, who had already started his solo career with "Open Fire" and collaborated with renowned artists such as Herbie Hancock. The band, formed in the beginning by Ronnie Montrose himself along with Bill Church, Sammy Hagar, Bob James and Alan Fitzgerald, stands out for albums such as "Jump On It" and "Montrose".
