Partaka, his real name is unknown, was born in the Carme neighbourhood in Valencia. In 1979 he moved to Barcelona and started singing in the metro, but his tenacity and quality made him end up singing in the Palau de la Música as one of the winners of the "Cançó 83" contest. Francesc Pi de la Serra i Valero (Barcelona, 6 August 1942), known artistically as Francesc Pi de la Serra or Quico Pi de la Serra, is a Spanish guitarist and singer-songwriter, one of the historic representatives of the Nova Cançó. Manel Camp is a Spanish pianist and composer whose work has been closely linked to the Catalan Nova Cançó movement since its beginnings.
