Ghom silk Z-Persia, c. 1960, pure silk pile material. The stepped light red central field is decorated with a midnight blue hexagon with 2 pendants, inlaid with stylized floral motifs arranged in a rod-like pattern, and bordered by 4 light green corner spandrels decorated throughout with filigree rosettes in an infinite repeat, as well as a green main border decorated with alternating palmettes and floral motifs. Very good condition. 139x220 cm (ft. 4.6x7.3).
