N-Turkey, around 1970. pure silk pile material. Signed "Hereke" at the top right. A blossoming flowering shrub with generously arranged forked tendrils and palmettes is presented in a golden yellow field beneath a pediment decorated with dark red arabesques. 2 red rosette borders line the light cartouche border, elegantly decorated with filigree floral palmettes and cloud bands. In good condition. 82x115 cm (ft. 2.7x3.8).
