Probably China, around 1990. Pure silk pile material. Finely woven. The cream-colored central field features 4 delicately patterned, turquoise blue 8-pass star medallions, closely flanked by elegant forked tendrils, finely worked palmettes, a lavish floral pattern and 4 turquoise blue corner spandrels. 2 midnight blue rosette borders accompany the likewise bright, floral border in a striking manner. Very good condition. 95x305 cm (ft. 3.1x10.1).
