Z-Persia, circa 1960. cork wool pile material, silk warp. Rare stripe pattern (Moharamat decoration). The central field is lined with vertical stripes in alternating colors, covered with wavy tendrils, boteh-goils and flowers in an infinite repeat. The red, richly decorated main border is adorned with palmettes and leaf tendrils and is surrounded by several striking borders. In good condition. 106x162 cm (ft. 3.5x5.3).
