Ghom silk Z-Persia, circa 1960, pure silk pile material. An elegant, light-colored diamond medallion with 2 palmette pendants stands out in the decorative pink central field, flanked by elaborately drawn chalice palmettes and forked tendrils in an infinite repeat. Several filigree borders adjoin the golden-yellow main border, which is decorated with reciprocal palmettes and wavy tendrils and forms a striking frame. Very good condition. 200x300 cm (ft. 6.6x9.9).
