Ghom silk Z-Persia, circa 1960, pure silk pile material and chain. The yellow-gold central field features a midnight blue star medallion with 2 pendants in the center, flanked by a continuous floral work, various animals and 4 corner spandrels, also in midnight blue. The gold-colored main border is stylishly decorated with finely drawn, reciprocal palmettes and tendril bands, as well as 2 filigree rosette borders. In good condition. 108x156 cm (ft. 3.6x5.1).
