Ghom silk Z-Persia, circa 1990, pure silk pile material. Signed "Salm Abadi" at the top center. Dense, skillfully crafted work. A hunting motif with 26 hunters on horseback is depicted on a luminous midnight blue ground, lavishly flanked by various wild animals, blossoming trees and scattered bouquets of flowers. 2 light-colored secondary borders decorated with floral motifs, hares and birds line the pink main border, which is also decorated with animals, trees and hunters. Very good condition. 195x314 cm (ft. 6.4x10.4).
