Fachralo Kazak S Caucasus, c. 1900. A red Fachralo niche with a white Fachralo cartouche medallion in the center rests on a midnight blue ground, surrounded by individually scattered blossoms, eight-pointed stars, S symbols, figurative depictions, stylized animals and other Kazak elements. A reciprocal medachyl outer border and a red wavy tendril inner border surround the midnight blue double-T main border. Signs of wear. 142x196 cm (ft. 4.7x6.5).
