Isfahan Z-Persia, c. 1910, very finely woven. The ivory ground is decorated with a dense floral design with a red star medallion in the center, surrounded by flower motifs, leaf tendrils and 4 decorative blue and red palmette corner spandrels. 2 light blue rosette borders surround the red main border, which is decorated with alternating palmettes and leaf tendrils. Natural abrasion. Minimal signs of wear. 145x205 cm (ft. 4.8x6.8).
