dating: 1847 provenance: Austria, Octagonal, rifled, 14 mm cal barrel (bore with strong pitting, visible rifling), with cylindrical nozzle, marked "J.R", "A", "V" and "S" under crown, provided with two-high sight with foldaway sight leaf, clutch for the bayonet; remains of browning. Tang marked "175", "11" and with another non-legible number. Lock with Augustin system dated "847" and with imperial mark; full wooden stock (very few woodworm holes) with marks "EF", "N", "0236F" and "CT". Brass mounts, stock with patchbox. Working mechanism. Complete with socket bayonet featuring marked handle. Rare.
