dating: 1853 provenance: Austria, Round, rifled, 18 mm cal barrel (12 clearly visible rifling) with octagonal base marked "CP", "11 C 3 9", "IA" under eagle, and various marks and symbols including the Greek letter omega on the right side, and "854" on the left side; provided with foldaway rear sight, front sight, clutch for the bayonet. Lock with Augustin system, plate dated "853" and with imperial mark. Wooden full stock, brass trigger guard and butt plate (tang marked en suite with the barrel), iron ramrod with brass ring. Complete with its bayonet featuring marks, length: 71.8 cm [cm].
