dating: 1860 provenance: Torino, Round, rifled barrel (bore with light pitting, clearly visible rifling), with octagonal base marked with three barely visible marks, provided with sight and clutch for the bayonet, 18 mm cal at the nozzle. Sighted tang. Forward spring lock marked "TORINO 1860" under the Savoy shield. Two-snap working mechanism. Full wooden stock with butt plate marked "13858". Iron mounts and ramrod. Together with its rare bayonet featuring a mark at the base, the hilt marked "43..3 2345 M". Other markings on the pommel. Complete with its leather scabbard featuring brass mounts.
