dating: 1870 provenance: Birmingham, Round, smoothbore, 15 cal barrel with short rib at the base, the base with various marks, front sight. Tang with rear sight. Forward spring lock marked "EIG" under crown and "1870 BIRMINGHAM". Full wooden stock with stamp "WD" and "ISAAK HOLLIS SONS". Brass mounts, iron articulated ramrod and suspension ring.
