dating: circa 1850 provenance: Parigi, Browned, smoothbore, round, damask, 17 mm cal. barrels, engraved with leaves at the base with foresight, the rib marked "Damas Fin" in gold and provided with foresight. Tang finely engraved with floral motifs. Forward spring flintlocks signed "LEPAGE FRERES" and "A PARIS" in gold, engraved en suite with the tang. Wooden half stock with checkered palm rest and grip. Hilt worked in the typical way. Metal-tipped, wooden ramrod and iron cartridge extractors.
