dating: Mid 19th Century provenance: Belgio, Smoothbore, round, damask and browned, 17 mm cal. barrels, the base with gilded rings, rib with gold-inlaid signature "DAMAS LECLERE" between silver floral motifs, the lower part of the barrels with mark of the Liège test bench, inscription "BREVETE" and "LECLERE" and other marks, brass foresight. Tang engraved with gold-and-silver-inlaid geometric motifs on a browned background. Fine percussion forward spring locks, lock plates engraved with micro-stars. Tang and front side engraved with floral motifs. Cocks with the same structure shaped as a micro-star, geometric gold inlays and dolphin-shaped ends. Beautiful wooden stock, checkered grip finely carved in the shape of a dragon. Browned, iron mounts, trigger guard worked with silver-and gold-inlaid with floral and geometric motifs. The side of the butt with patchbox. Brass-tipped wooden ramrod and iron cartridge extractors.
