dating: about 1880 provenance: Belfast, Smoothbore, round, 12 gauge barrels, (clean bores), browning with damascus pattern, the rib signed "ADAM HUNTER MAKER CASTLE ARCADE BELFAST", engraved at the base and with foresight. Tang finely engraved with floral motifs; forward spring locks signed "ADAM HUNTER" and decorated en suite as are all the mounts. Butt and fore-end made of briarwood with hand support and checkered grip. Lower lever. Serial number "1xx". Good quality.
