A fine wheel-lock pistol from Ferlach

dating: second quarter of the 17th Century provenance: Ferlach, Long, smoothbore, octagonal, 14 mm cal. barrel, slightly tapering towards the nozzle, breech with the Ferlach's control mark and decorated with a frame. Lock with external wheel slightly engraved with floral motifs, flat rhomboid lock-plate, cock with tapered body, corner piece carved with floral motifs, base of rectangular section, sliding pan cover, with a mark shaped as a double arrow inside. Black, walnut full stock. Beautiful filigree inlays with racemes and geometric motifs on almost the entire wooden surface. Iron mounts, three-sided trigger guard slightly carved and engraved. Iron-tipped wooden ramrod. Belt hook.
