dating: First half of the 18th Century provenance: Europa, Smoothbore, three-stage barrels, octagonal at the first part, then both with double round segment and triple rings on the second girdle; 12 mm. caliber at the nozzle. Bore needs cleaning inside. The two barrels mounted on the front rolling block; the block can be unlocked by pressing the trigger guard, and it is provided with two pans and batteries. Well working rolling knot and block. Lock with hammer featuring hammer-throw shaped as a swan's neck and engraved with grotesques and floral motifs. Slightly rounded lock plate with border in relief and engraved with floral motifs. The stock consisting of two segments, the butt and the fore-end located between the two barrels, both with some signs of use and time. Iron mounts. Some pitting. Beautiful counterplate worked in raceme fretwork. With iron-tipped wooden ramrod on one side, between the two barrels.
