A naval flintlock pistol Lot n° 550

dating: circa 1800 provenance: Francia, Smoothbore, bronze, two-stage, 10 mm cal barrel, octagonal and engraved with a bust among floral motifs on the first part, the round part engraved and with moulded nozzle; engraved iron tang. Brass lock decorated en suite, iron hammer, batterie, spring and trigger (one screw is broken). Wooden full stock (a crack at the handle) with brass mounts decorated en suite with the barrel. Brass-tipped, wooden ramrod.
