dating: Mid 19th Century provenance: Francia, Round, smoothbore, damask, 11.5 mm cal barrel (one of the pocket pistol with the barrel replaced and, therefore, different from the original, the change was made in time of use; the replacement barrel is made of damask, but of slightly-shorter length). Finely engraved, box-lock type frames engraved with floral motifs, off-centre hammers and foresight. Foldaway trigger. Beautiful, grooved, wooden stocks, the front parted carved with a flower. Pronounced, faceted butt-plates engraved en suite with the frame. In a wooden case lined with brick-red velvet (signs of time) and provided with a single tool, lid with brass handle.
