A rare hussar's sabre
dating: First half of the 18th Century provenance: Europa orientale, Curved, single-and false-edged blade of medium width with fuller under the rear part. Iron hilt with quillon provided with ring and langets, oblique loop guard. Wooden handle with leather covering (missing parts), decorated with small flower-shaped rivets, iron cap with a large button. Poland or Hungary.
