Satellite reflector antenna
Double shell designed to withstand extreme temperatures (from -210 degrees to + 160 degrees) for around 15 years.
This type of antenna enables satellites to communicate with the Earth, mainly by retransmitting a signal (telecommunications, media, etc.) emitted from the surface over long distances.
Manufactured by Airbus Defence and Space (Astrium) for the "Objectif Terre" exhibition at the Cité des sciences et de l'industrie.
