ZILOTTI, Domenico Bernardo (attributed to) An extensive landscape with a tree in the foreground. 18th c Black chalk, brown ink, framing line in black ink, 28,2 x 39,5 cm, laid paper with watermark (crowned double-headed eagle) (few sm. gall losses, few sm. tears strengthened, some spots). Hinged at upper edges. Under passe-partout. The Venetian Zilotti (1730-1795) produced similar drawings (Austin, Blanton Museum of Art, inv. 2017.1442; Bassano del Grappa, Museo Biblioteca Archivio, inv. Riva 3.87.152) and used them as a source for his etchings (Amsterdam, Rijksmuseum, inv. RP-P-2003-186; London, British Museum, inv. Nn,7.32.5). Prov.
