Good impression with margins. Hinged at upper edges, under passe-partout. Charming scene of the Holy Family with Joseph peeping through the window. From the original plate etched by Rembrandt (1606-1669) in 1654. Later impression of the 3rd state with the white spots at upper left and right shaded over, but before the chin of the Virgin was shaded over. Ref.
