Attic black-figure cloverleaf toinoche from the workshop of the Painter of the Red Lines. 500 - 480 BC H 16.3 cm, ø body 9.8 cm. Small jug of type 1 with rectangular field. Depicting two crowned, prancing comasts with cloaks over their arms. Wreaths, beards and the eponymous circumferential line below the image field in red. Small part of the upper handle and pieces of the edge of the trefoil mouth missing and have been replaced and retouched. Provenance: In the private collection of P. A., Munich since 2021; previously in German family ownership since before 2000.
