Roman transport amphora for wine of the Dressel 1B type. Tyrrhenian coast, ca. 120 - 10 BC. H 91.3cm and with stand 97.5cm. Light brown clay. With high and undercut mouth rim and strap handles. With a beautiful iron stand! Foot missing, otherwise unbroken and intact, remnants of marine growth. Provenance: From the private collection D.
