Scroll seal made of steatite. Mitanni, 15th - 13th century BC H 2.1 cm, ø 0.8 cm. The depiction vertically separated by "ladder lines": In one register two antithetical winged spings, in the middle a braided band, below a cow. In the other register a duel between a winged lion and an upside-down ox, below "ladder line" and braided band. With unrolling! Intact. Provenance: Ex private collection H.L., Rhineland, since before 2000.
