Amphora in sand core technique. Eastern Mediterranean, 1st century BC. H 14cm. Dark blue glass. Oval body with tapering base and knobbed foot, narrow, long neck, funnel mouth and two shoulder handles. Handle and foot made of clear, colorless glass. Body decorated with a white garland pattern and spiral threads. Reassembled from several fragments, missing parts restored; with stand. Provenance: ex Gorny & Mosch 300, 2023, lot 237; ex collection Dr. Wiegand, Bavaria, collection period 1960s to 2005.
