Alabastron in sand core technique. Eastern Mediterranean, 2nd - 1st century BC. H 12.7cm. Dark blue glass. Biconical vessel with flaring rim and small knobbed handles. Body decorated with garland pattern in white. Lower part of the body replaced, missing chips restored. Provenance: ex Gorny & Mosch 300, 2023, lot 246; ex collection Dr. Wiegand, Bavaria, collection period 1960s to 2005.
