Amphoriskos. Eastern Mediterranean, 1st century AD. H 10cm. Made of mold-blown, violet clear glass. Slender, ovoid body narrowing towards the bottom with drop-shaped tip and transverse grooves. Remains of sinter, with beautiful iris, intact. Provenance: Ex Otto Schäfer Collection, Schweinfurt, since before 2000.
