Jug with magnificent handle. Roman Imperial period, 2nd - 4th century A.D. H 13cm. Green clear glass. Bellied body with standing ring, narrow neck and funnel mouth with heavily folded lip. The quadruple profiled band handle runs from the shoulder to the rim and is embellished with a gold inclusion on one side. A spiral thread at the neck.
