Mold-blown bottle. Islamic, 11th - 12th century. H 18.3cm. Green clear glass. Bellied body on a thick ring foot, with a tall, slender cylindrical neck with a flattened lip. Body with relief pattern depiction of large flowers in framing loops. A thread running around the neck, the lower coils of which have been pressed in with a tool and formed into bows. Sintered and iridescent, intact. Provenance: ex Gorny & Mosch 300, 2023, lot 326; ex collection Dr. Wiegand, Bavaria, collection period 1960s to 2005.
