Female idol of the Tell Halaf type. Northern Mesopotamia, 5th mill. bc. Chr. H 8cm. Light beige terracotta with remnants of ochre and dark brown stripe painting. Statuette of a seated female figure with thick, unarticulated legs and a powerful upper body with voluminous breasts, which she embraces with her arms. The head and neck are designed as a cone-like projection with a flat headdress. With TL analysis from the Kotalla laboratory, 2024! Cf. Orient and Occident.
